Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), Sylhet was established on January 15, 2015 at Jalalabad Cantonment, Sylhet. It is an affiliated institute of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), one of the prominent public universities of Bangladesh. Functioning directly under supervision of Bangladesh Army, It follows the BUP curriculum and is committed to global standard as reflected in our academic policies and pedagogy.

With its own unique features, AIBA, Sylhet is temporarily set up at the campus of Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College (JCPSC), Sylhet. The institute offers a tranquil, pollution free and secured campus life with a non-political and congenial academic atmosphere. The site for its permanent campus has been earmarked at the new location close to Sylhet Cantonment. The construction works of the permanent campus will begin very soon. AIBA, Sylhet extends it services to students from all walks of life – military and civilians; youths and professionals seeking for building prosperous and dynamic career.  

AIBA, Sylhet began its journey with Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program for undergraduate level students with a view to developing knowledge and skills of young students and grooming them into efficient executives. Besides BBA Program, our Master of Business Administration (MBA) program began in October 2015. The MBA program provides an integrated set of learning opportunities for students in mastering the knowledge and skills necessary for managing and leading modern organizations efficiently. Our prime focus is on capacity building of the students to appreciate external and internal environments so as to make creative and pragmatic decisions based on informed judgments. AIBA, Sylhet endeavors to shape its graduates to undertake challenging responsibilities in diverse fields of national and multi-national corporate world. The First Batch of BBA from AIBA, Sylhet has already been graduated in December 2018.  

AIBA, Sylhet has an excellent set of faculty members, officers and staff qualified from home and abroad, experienced and expert in their respective fields of responsibilities. Our main strength is their spirit, motivation and dedication to maintain the highest possible standard of the institute.
